Legal Proceedings for Minor in Stabbing Case

The General Prosecutor's Office of Justice of Mexico City has reported on the legal process of the underage influencer who attacked a woman with a sharp weapon in Jardines de Coyoacán. The minor was charged with the crime of qualified injuries, requesting her formal connection to the process and the precautionary measure of preventive detention.

According to the investigations, Marianne Gonzaga stabbed Valentina 15 times, seriously injuring one of her hands. The adolescent's defense requested the doubling of the constitutional term, which was granted, maintaining the precautionary measure of preventive imprisonment for the crime of qualified injuries.

Despite criticism on social media that classified the crime as attempted femicide or attempted homicide, the law establishes a different sentence due to the aggressor's age, being 17 years old. The Prosecutor's Office issued a statement updating on the case and the legal qualification of the injuries suffered by Valentina at the hands of Marianne in an apartment in Jardines de Coyoacán.
